Choosing a photographer, especially a wedding photographer, is a big deal. It's important that whoever you work with is more than just a talented artist--you should enjoy having them around.To ensure this kind of connection with my clients, I want you to know a bit more about me! 

 

I’m married to my best friend and am mama to a cheerful little boy and an enthusiastic Labrador. I love questions and dancing and getting out of the city. When I see something beautiful in someone I try to speak it.

I'm also a woman of faith. A part of my life’s mission is to do all things for the glory of God, and my photography is a part of that. Am I producing work that honors the dignity that God created every human being with? Are my photos honest? Is my intention inwardly turned or is there a purpose behind my work that I am proud of? These questions are just as much a part of my process as lighting and editing.

My style is candid and authentic. I use prompts to lead you into real emotions and moments, so you never have to worry about awkward posing. I'm after true emotions and connections between my clients. It’s one thing to take a pretty picture of someone, it’s another thing to create a portrait that captures a glimpse at who they really are and shares their story.
